Denying Love I Deserve

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

I can no longer pretend my heart has turned cold

When the embers still burn red hot

I can no longer deny the passion I feel

The loneliness is felt on a daily

I wonder what the feeling feels like again

The feeling of being loved and loving back

What does my future hold?

I miss the feeling

The feeling of being wanted

Desired

Loved

But am I truly ready

Or is it loneliness speaking again

Soon

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Impatiently waiting on me to spit Her anticipation reaches a fever pitch She lives how the words tend to slip off my tongue flowing rhythmically from my lips to her waiting ears She said soon the magic will happen Soon my ears will be pleasured with the passion in his rhymes The flavor in his tone The swag in his motions

My Passion

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Brings happiness when the day has turned a blind eye

To my despair a light some call it hope

Arises to strengthen me against my troubles

Through the fire I’ve survived suffocating heat

From the fires that burn within me

Motivating me to create artwork with words

On blank canvases with only a pen to guide my thoughts

I find that love takes me to new heights

Where I am no longer afraid to fall

Cause at the bottom I land feet first

Standing on my own two

Holding destiny in my hands

The past eats away at my heels trying to draw me back

Into that dark place under the rock built by my fears and guilt

The future looms ahead beckoning me with its wonderful sites

I only catch a glimpse from my light tower of hope

Many seas separate me from my goal

But I will climb the highest mountain

Swim the darkest sea

Endure the most pain and sorrow

To reach that peak

That peak fuels me throughout this thing we call life

Challenging me to keep going

Keeping me grounded but at the same time letting me fly freely

This passion burns pleasing me

My temptress seducing me

Music flows throughout the room

Enticing my senses

Caressing me in a tight hug caramel brown arms surround me

Whispering in my ear that everything is ok

Comforting me as I continue my journey

My passion is loyal

Never betraying the truth that I have put into

The heart of the emotion

As my journey continues my life’s book is being written

Forever I’ll strive

Forever I’ll love

My dear passion

Many things in life catch your eye

But only a few will catch your heart

Love shine down on me

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

As I gaze into the night sky

The stars form a silhouette of your face

A face I know and love

Looking down on me as I go through this rough patch

Whispering sweet nothing in my ear

I embrace this feeling you’ve introduced to me

Love and happiness

Al green sung that

I know understand what he meant

Love brings happiness whether your day is good or bad

Cause when you think of that special one

As you gaze upwards into the night sky

Know that the stars shine a little brighter

Because your mind is in a better place

The place where your love resides

Secret Temptations

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Temptation is life’s biggest tease

Causing these thoughts to come as they please

I made a vow to refrain from pleasure

But these little moments are hard to ignore

The thought of your body caressing mine

But all of this will happen with time

Time

A concept I’ve pondered

Giving myself time to wonder

Is it more than just the sex

A night of passion with an ex

A heated encounter when I’m drunk

Or is all that shit just mental junk

Thoughts

Of my life having more meaning

Cause for once I’m not being demeaning

Finally learning about myself

Cause to truly love another you have to love thyself

Celibate temptations I will not bow

Cause true happiness is all I want to know

War of Words

war of words

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

These words clash to control my thoughts

They determine the thinking of my pen

As it slashes genius across this blank canvas

These are my thoughts fighting for freedom

From the confines of my mind

The deep bruises left on this paper

Define the emotions felt as this is written

Written from the heart of passion

Spoken like soulful lyrics flowing from the voice of an angel

Words that need no weapons

Only using the force resonating for the waiting ear

To hear

These words are crazy and wild

But organize themselves into a harmonious union

Making sense out of senseless confusion

Trapping the heart into an emotional conundrum

The battle for supremacy rages in my head

Waging a war of words inside my mind

Definition of Love

love passion

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Sitting around awhile

Staring into each other’s eyes

Trying to feel that longing feeling

That feeling of completeness

Our emotions slowly draw us together into a kiss

Our hesitant kisses turn into blissful sensations

O lady tell me what it is you feel

As you feel my lips upon your lips

Tell me where to go from here

Cause this feeling I’ve never felt

This journey we’re on has just begun

The excitement we feel as we lay

As we lay upon satin sheets

Made for lovers such as ourselves

Your head lay’s on my chest

Your ear hears loves rhythm as it plays our favorite song

I caress you on so softly

Feeling the skin that’s as soft as fine silk

Warm like the suns gift to planet earth

Again we kiss

Deep

Sensual

Passionate

Sparks don’t fly

Instead they stay within to heighten loves senses

This feeling we feel can’t be lust

Only love can feel this way

The protector wrapping his arms around your nurturing soul

Passion not hidden but open for the world to see

Not ashamed to show the emotions felt between us

Love is defined by our passionate eyes

As we stare into each other’s soul

Defined by our sensitive touch

As we lay

Defined by words not just said but meant

As I whisper I love you into your waiting ear

Defined by the sacrifice of relationships

As your needs become mine and vice versa

Defined by us

Defined

Felt

Trusted

Midnight Lover

midnight lover

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Midnight lover knows she feels so good

Treat you right like I know I should

Midnight lover won’t you stay with me

Through these lonely nights

Steamy thoughts envelope my mind

Every time you cross my thoughts

Thoughts of what we have

Thoughts

Clear and concise

Midnight lover, damn I’m a lucky man

To have happened across your fine ass

The way you danced that sensual dance

The way your hips sway with that sassy walk

The way your lips feel against mine

The way please this rising passion

Midnight lover I know your time is short

But please stay till the sun greets the sky

Cause your body feels like heaven on earth

Your words play music in my mind

Soulful and invigorating chords of melodies flow from your mouth

Through those lushes lips pass wisdom that soothes and comforts

Your body is the epitome of God’s creation

Crafted by perfect hands and a perfect mind

Midnight lover, this night can’t be true

I hope this fantasy can merge with reality

I hope you stay just for a little while

Or marry me and stay forever

Let Me Come Through

sexy

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

It seems like you’re ready

To feel intense pleasure

So let me come through and satisfy you

Let me caress that body

Got you feeling naughty

When I lay down that body

Now you’re off in my ride

Cruising with a smile so bright

The sunshine grows jealous of that good feeling

That feeling I gave as a gift of my love

My love for passion

My love for excitement

My love for you

So undress baby

Slow and sensual

Touch your toes when you bend over

So I can see the love between those thighs

Girl you got me rising high with a simple touch

Soft and tender slow and gentle

Let me work between those thighs or maybe from behind

Naw I’ll let you ride then reverse the motion

Up against the wall or in the kitchen next to food

Feed my hunger

Feed my passion

Feed me your sweet essence

So let me come through to satisfy you

And I promise I’ll feed you too

When the Water runs Dry

when the water runs dry

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

These predicaments we face really break the heart

This problem has gone on longer than we both can bear

After so long a love

The waters run dry

Our emotions are mere actions predetermined by stereotypes

How did we get here?

Feeling like Deborah Cox in the brain

This thing we’ve become I truly detest

Sometimes I feel like running away

Far away or even back in time

When the rivers flowed with vigor and strength

Love’s presence has eroded like mountains over time

The fire is extinguished

Intimacy is like a household chore

Life has caught hold of our status and twisted it into a withered old soul

The words “ I Love You” are hollow and bare

No emotion flows from the words spoken from our mouths

But this love must reignite

We’re destined to be great

We sacrifice too much

We savor too little

I love you for eternity

I can’t live without you

Please help me find passion

That first love type passion

That passionate love making

Help me ignite that fire

That had us dripping from head to toe with sweat from a pleasurable night

Light the fire and let it burn for eternity

I love you can’t you see that?

Let’s work this out

Let’s be one again

Let me love you better

Don’t let the water run dry
