Trapped in an asylum of my own creation
I am tied down and beaten
Blooded and bruised I try to see my enemy
But I see nothing
Nothing but marks left on the walls from my struggle with myself
But I could have sworn I saw someone
Who else could be holding me down?
Who else could be so brutal?
So devilishly insane
So full of pain
That they explode in a rage
That rage is so quick
So impressively savage
Bound by one train of thought
I feel a void
A lifeless stigma
The light shines
Sun rays cutting the bonds that hold
Healing the wounds from my enemies
Now my mind is open
Now I am sane
