Traveling by Midnight

Odd colors adorn the night sky

But all I see is the darkness ahead

Within that darkness a slight glow from the horizon

Or is it just my imagination

Tricked by the magic that is midnight

A lonely road I walk

Paved with the dreams of yesterday

At this magical hour

The “Zero Hour”

I see the dreams floating

Floating away in the night sky

Like wishes sent to a shooting star

Hopes and dreams

Traveling through the sky

No destination in sight

Each one traveling alone

By midnight
